Die punch pin manufacturing process
1. Drawing, cutting
The raw materials that have passed the test are drawn into a desired diameter size by a wire drawing machine, and then cut into a rod-shaped punching pin blank of a fixed length.
2. Heat treatment
Before the heat treatment, the punching blank is firstly straightened on the straightening platform with a dial gauge, and then placed in a high-frequency electric furnace or a salt bath furnace to be heated to 800-1300 degrees Celsius for 2 to 5 minutes. After oil quenching and hardening, the tip hardness of the quenching heat treatment can reach Hv590-800. Then the low temperature tempering treatment is carried out.
3. Grinding processing
The punching pin is clamped on the spring collet of the machine tool, and the grinding forming process is separately performed according to the angular requirements of the various needle bases of the punching pin.
4. Polishing
Polishing is to clean the surface of the oil, rust, etc., and clean the surface.
5. Inspection, storage
According to the required index, the qualified ones can be packed into the warehouse.
